A vibrant secondary school in Littlehampton is looking to appoint a Maths Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September. This role is perfect for those considering a future in teaching or wanting to make a meaningful contribution to students’ academic journeys.

The role:

• Supporting Maths teachers across KS3 and KS4 in a classroom setting.

• Leading 1:1 and small group numeracy interventions.

• Encouraging problem-solving skills and supporting students to overcome challenges in their learning.

• Helping to maintain a calm, focused learning environment.

You will need:

• A degree in Maths or a related subject is advantageous.

• Experience working with young people (at least 6 weeks).

• A current DBS on the Update Service and up-to-date safeguarding training (mandatory).

• A calm, patient manner and excellent communication skills.
