Are you a passionate Maths and Science Teacher looking to make a real difference?

A specialist SEMH school in Westbury is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils. This is a full-time position running until Christmas, offering the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role

  • Teach Maths and Science to pupils across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them build confidence and achieve academically.
  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team to promote excellent outcomes for all learners.

Must Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND, or additional learning needs is desirable.
  • Calm, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people.
  • Committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
