About the Role:

Work closely with teachers, the Inclusion Coordinator (INCO), and other professionals to identify pupils needing Maths interventions.
Develop and implement tailored action plans to support individual learning needs.
Build positive relationships with pupils and families to encourage engagement and progress.
Provide regular feedback to staff and parents on pupil progress and recommend further support where needed.
Participate in assessments, training, and networking to share best practice and enhance your professional development.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in teaching assistance or relevant experience in primary education.
Strong knowledge of the Primary Maths curriculum and understanding of barriers to learning such as dyscalculia or maths anxiety.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
Proven experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a primary school setting.
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and external agencies.
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development.
