Maths Teacher – Large Secondary School, Chichester

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Chichester. This full-time, long-term position starts in October 2024 and will run until July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students across various year groups, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported in their learning.

About the Role:

• Position: Maths Teacher (Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience).
• Start Date: October 2024.
• Contract: Full-time, long-term role until July 2025.
• Salary: £MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
• Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons, track student progress, provide feedback, and contribute to the wider Maths department and school activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.
• Current safeguarding training.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
