Maths Teacher

We are recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to work full-time on a long-term basis in a specialist SEMH school in the Brighton area.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and can deliver engaging, accessible maths lessons in a supportive setting.

The Role:

• Deliver Maths across secondary age groups

• Adapt lessons to meet SEMH and SEND needs

• Build positive relationships and promote engagement

• Work closely with support staff and the wider school team

• Create a calm, structured learning environment

Requirements:

• QTS preferred, however Unqualified Teachers will be considered

• Essential experience working with SEMH and/or SEND pupils

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach

• Commitment to inclusive education
