Our client school in Worthing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2024. This is a full-time, temporary position initially, with the potential for extension based on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
