Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a respected Alternative Provision to recruit a Teaching Assistant for their Inclusion Team, supporting mainstream schools across Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas.
This rewarding outreach position involves working 1:1 with pupils who have SEND and SEMH needs and are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. You’ll play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning while supporting schools to create positive, inclusive outcomes.
You’ll work alongside experienced Inclusion Leaders and manage your own local caseload, travelling between a small number of schools to provide tailored support for individual pupils.
Deliver targeted 1:1 support within mainstream primary and secondary schools.
Build positive relationships with pupils experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
Support emotional wellbeing, engagement and learning.
Work closely with Inclusion Leaders and school staff.
Keep clear records and contribute to support planning.
Travel between schools within your designated local area.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional needs.
Primary and/or secondary school experience.
Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
A calm, adaptable and resilient approach.
A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
£100 per day.
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
Mileage reimbursement for travel between schools.
Support with arranging business insurance.
