About the Nursery
Pink Tile Education are working with a well-established nursery in Eastbourne, part of a nursery group with three settings across East Sussex.
We work closely with this nursery group on a regular basis to provide childcare staff, and candidates placed with them have consistently given us positive feedback about their experience.
They are now looking for a qualified Nursery Assistant to join their Eastbourne setting on a part-time basis.
The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the team in providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play and activities
- Helping to provide a safe and stimulating nursery environment
- Supporting children’s personal care, wellbeing and daily routines
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Working closely with other nursery staff
- Following safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures
- Contributing to observations and children’s development records
About You
The nursery is looking for someone who is:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare (Essential)
- Previous nursery or early years experience
- Warm, patient and reliable
- Confident working as part of a team
- Has a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- Passionate about supporting children’s development
- Committed to safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
