Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner with a passion for supporting babies and toddlers during the most important stages of their development?

We are recruiting on behalf of a warm, welcoming nursery near Cranleigh looking for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner to join their Baby Room team, working with children aged 6 months to 2 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a part-time role with the possibility of moving into a full-time position from January.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care and support for children aged 6 months to 2 years
• Create engaging activities that encourage learning and development
• Support children’s emotional, social and physical development
• Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Work closely with parents and the wider nursery team
• Follow safeguarding and welfare requirements at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience working with babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years
• Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Nurse experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the nursery’s rural location
• Reliable, caring and committed approach to early years education
