Part-Time Learning Support Assistant – Year 1

Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Competitive daily rate

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with our Year 1 pupils during the mornings. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing environment that values teamwork and pupil wellbeing.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Year 1 pupils in the classroom to access learning and thrive.
  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
  • Providing additional support for pupils who may need extra help with literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children (Year 1 experience desirable).
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education.
