Hours: 8:45am–3:15pm
Experience: Previous SEN experience required

A lovely Infant Primary School in Horsham is looking for a part‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child who requires additional help with communication, engagement, and emotional regulation. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in a calm, caring school community.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will support one child in:

  • Building confidence and independence
  • Supporting communication, attention and play
  • Helping them access the curriculum in a way that suits their needs
  • Encouraging positive emotional regulation
  • Creating structure, routine and a predictable learning environment
  • Providing gentle, patient, 1:1 support throughout the school day

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys early‑years settings and has a nurturing, child‑centred approach.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous SEN experience (essential)
  • Confidence supporting young children in EYFS or KS1
  • A calm, patient and caring manner

  • Reliability, consistency, and genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive
