Teacher of PE – Crawley, West Sussex

 

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Contract: Full Time, Temp with a View to Permanent (Part-Time Considered)
Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: ASAP

 

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school. The school has a strong community ethos, excellent facilities and a commitment to supporting both staff and students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, track and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create an inclusive classroom where all learners feel supported and challenged.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, pastoral teams, and parents to support holistic development.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular opportunities.
 

Skills & Experience / What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and continuous professional development.
  • Enthusiastic NQTs/ECTs are also encouraged to apply.
