 Are you a Physiology graduate looking to make a real difference in young people’s lives? Would you like to apply your knowledge of human behaviour, development, and wellbeing in an educational setting?

We’re looking for passionate and emotionally intelligent graduates to join our team as SEMH & SEND Support Mentors in schools across [Insert Area]. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain meaningful experience supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as those with special educational needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and/or SEND needs

  • Using your understanding of physiology, development, and behaviour to help manage emotional regulation and wellbeing in students

  • Supporting teaching staff to create inclusive and accessible learning environments

  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor, building trust and promoting resilience

  • Contributing to behaviour plans, emotional support strategies, and daily routines

Ideal for Graduates Who:

  • Have a degree in PhysiologyHuman SciencesNeurosciencePsychology, or a related field

  • Are passionate about inclusion, wellbeing, and supporting young people with complex needs

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Are patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure

  • Are considering a future career in education, mental health, or therapy
