A welcoming and well-resourced special school in Waterlooville is looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

This setting provides highly specialised support to pupils with complex needs and requires staff who are patient, nurturing and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.

The role:
• Supporting pupils with complex learning and physical needs
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Supporting sensory learning and communication activities
• Working closely with therapists and teaching staff

Requirements:
• Experience supporting SEND or care experience
• Patient and nurturing approach
• DBS on the Update Service
• Safeguarding training

Both short-term and long-term opportunities are available from April 2026.
