About the Role

This is a flexible supply teaching role, offering a mix of day-to-day cover and longer-term placements across the primary age range.

You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and ensure continuity of learning. For long-term placements, you may take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required
• Follow lesson plans for daily supply or plan and assess work in long-term roles
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable

• Experience across multiple key stages
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• A track record of delivering strong pupil outcomes
