About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Full-time Primary Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing young minds and a proven track record in primary education, with expertise in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and/or Key Stage 2 (KS2). Experience in Early Years education and Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all pupils
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEN
  • Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and other professionals to support pupil development
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pupil achievement and behavior
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community

As a Full-time Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum for England. This includes:

You will be expected to adapt your teaching methods and materials to suit the age group and abilities of your pupils, ensuring that all children make progress and reach their full potential.

Assessment and Monitoring

Regular assessment and monitoring of pupil progress are crucial aspects of the role. You will be required to:

  • Conduct formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress
  • Use assessment data to inform planning and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support their learning and development
  • Prepare detailed reports on pupil progress for parents and school leadership
  • Participate in pupil progress meetings and contribute to the school’s overall assessment strategy

Pastoral Care and Behavior Management

As a Full-time Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in the pastoral care of your pupils. This includes:
