About the Role:
We are seeking a Primary Teacher to join the team in September 2025. You will teach a small group of primary-aged pupils (Key Stages 1 and 2), delivering a highly personalised curriculum that promotes learning, independence, and emotional resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for pupils with varying needs and abilities
Promote emotional literacy and positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches
Work closely with a strong team of teaching assistants, therapists, and residential staff
Implement and contribute to pupils’ Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Encourage engagement with the school’s wider curriculum, including outdoor and animal-assisted learning

Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Primary teaching experience (Key Stage 1 and/or 2)
Ability to adapt teaching for pupils with additional needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High levels of resilience, patience, and empathy
Desirable:
Experience in SEMH, alternative provision, or specialist settings
Familiarity with Team Teach or other behaviour support strategies
Knowledge of trauma-informed, attachment-aware, or nurture-based approaches
