We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Eastbourne area. This is a full-time opportunity starting immediately, ideal for someone who enjoys making a positive impact on young learners every day.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Deliver small group interventions to help pupils reach their learning goals
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils who require additional assistance
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Assist with lunchtime supervision and pupil welfare
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Help create a positive and supportive learning environment

• Experienced working with children (desirable but not essential)
