Teaching Assistant – Supporting Young People with SEND
£89 per day | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term Time Only

We’re working with a number of inclusive and supportive schools seeking Teaching Assistants who are confident, compassionate and ready to help students achieve their full potential — both in and beyond the classroom.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students who may have a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health challenges. You’ll support learning, encourage independence and help create a positive and structured learning environment throughout the school day.
What You’ll Need:
A calm, patient and consistent approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with young people and staff
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience supporting children or young people (in school, care, youth work or similar)
Understanding of, or interest in, SEND and inclusive education
What we also love to see:
Experience with specific needs such as autism, SEMH, or non-verbal communication wherever the experience is from
