Hours: Full-time

About the Role

Do you have the passion, resilience, and creativity to help children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Progress Partner to join our team and play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing primary environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school where relationships and emotional safety are at the heart of learning. You’ll help pupils overcome barriers, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for success—both in and beyond the classroom.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with pupils to support progress against individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that promote resilience and engagement.
  • Deliver targeted interventions for academic and emotional development.
  • Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation using trauma-informed strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEMH or additional needs.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to helping every child succeed.

Why Join Us?

  • A supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Specialist training and CPD opportunities in trauma-informed practice and behaviour support.
  • A chance to make a real difference every day in a role that offers purpose and fulfilment.
