About the Role

Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive in education? We are looking for a dedicated Progress Partner to join our team in a specialist secondary SEMH setting.

This is a unique opportunity to work with students aged 11–16 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, and associated challenges. You’ll play a vital role in supporting academic progress, emotional regulation, and personal development—helping students build confidence and resilience for life beyond school.

What You’ll Do

  • Support pupils in achieving their EHCP and individual learning plan targets.
  • Deliver tailored interventions for academic and emotional growth.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that promote engagement and positive behaviour.
  • Use trauma-informed and restorative approaches to support regulation and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to ensure consistent support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with young people with SEMH or additional needs.
  • Resilience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion and a belief in every student’s potential.

Why Join Us?

  • A supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Specialist training and CPD opportunities in trauma-informed practice and behaviour support.
  • A chance to make a real difference every day in a role that offers purpose and fulfilment.
