Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Worthing – September Start

Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience in a secondary school setting?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Worthing from September 2025. This is a full-time role, perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with a variety of learning needs and those considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs, including those with SEMH and SEND

• Work closely with the school’s SENCO and teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions

• Help students access the curriculum and reach their academic potential

• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology (or related discipline)

• A passion for working with young people in an educational setting

• A DBS on the Update Service

• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)

Details:

• Start Date: September 2025

• Pay Rate: £89 per day

• Location: Worthing, West Sussex

• Contract: Full-time, term time only
