Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring TA with a passion for helping young people thrive? A well-respected school in Chichester is looking for a dedicated and patient individual to join their staff team in September 2025.
This full-time role is perfect for anyone looking to gain experience in mental health, special educational needs, or child development before going into teaching, therapy or further study. You’ll support students across key stages, building trusted relationships and helping them grow in confidence and ability.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting students with additional needs in and out of the classroom
Delivering tailored academic and emotional support
Helping with the preparation of resources and behaviour management strategies
Being a positive role model for pupils who need consistent support
You’ll need to have:
A Psychology background or experience supporting young people
A calm and caring manner
The ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
A valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
