Are you a Psychology graduate looking to kick-start your career in education or mental health? A forward-thinking secondary school in Horsham is offering a full-time opportunity for an aspiring teaching assistant to join them from September 2025.
You will be part of a committed and inclusive school community where student wellbeing is central to everything they do. This is a brilliant chance to gain experience in an educational setting, working closely with students who benefit from targeted emotional and academic support.
Your role will include:
Supporting students in lessons and helping with classroom engagement
Providing emotional support and helping pupils regulate behaviour
Working closely with the SENCo and pastoral teams
Assisting with differentiated learning and interventions
Ideal candidates will have:
A Psychology degree or relevant TA/youth support experience
A desire to work with students who may have additional needs
A warm, confident and positive attitude
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
