Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Resourcer to join our SEND education recruitment team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and supporting candidates for teaching and support roles within special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) settings. You will play a key role in ensuring schools are supplied with high-quality, fully vetted staff who meet the specific needs of their environment.

Key Duties:

·        Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.

·        Screen candidates’ CVs and applications to ensure suitability for SEND roles.

·        Conduct initial candidate interviews and arrange interviews or trial days with schools.

·        Support candidates through the compliance process, including DBS checks, references, and qualification verification.

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the agency database.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their skills, experience, and career goals.

·        Collaborate closely with recruitment consultants to match candidates to school requirements.

·        Assist with ongoing recruitment campaigns and support the wider recruitment team as needed.

·        Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience that reflects the agency’s values.

Candidate Expectations:

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

·        Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring accurate records and compliance.

·        Proactive and motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Genuine interest in education, particularly SEND, and understanding of the importance of matching candidates to the right environment.

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·        Professional approach, with discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
