School Finance Administrator

A specialist school in Guildford is looking for an organised and detail-focused Finance Administrator to join their school office team on a part-time basis.
This role would suit someone with previous finance administration, school administration or office administration experience who is confident using computer systems and managing accurate financial records.
The role is 8 hours per week, with flexibility to work either one full day on Wednesday or Thursday, or two mornings on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Role
- Supporting the school’s day-to-day finance administration
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
- Using the Access CRM system to manage and update information
- Using Arbor for relevant school administration
- Sending bulk communications to parents, staff and the wider school community
- Supporting general school office administration
- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and efficiently
- Working with school staff to support smooth administrative processes
About You
- Previous experience in finance administration, school administration or a similar administrative role
- Previous experience using Access CRM is desirable
- Previous experience using Arbor is desirable
- Confident working with financial information and purchase orders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Organised and able to manage tasks independently
- Professional and confident communicating with staff and parents
- Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial
