Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a busy, inclusive secondary school in Crawley to recruit an Unqualified Science Teacher for an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong Science background who is keen to gain hands-on classroom experience while sharing their enthusiasm for the subject. The role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or career-changers looking to build experience ahead of teacher training.
Delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Following set schemes of work and lesson plans
Managing classroom behaviour in line with clear school policies
Supporting pupil engagement, understanding and progress
Working closely with the Science department and senior staff
A supportive and well-structured environment
Ongoing CPD and in-school support
Clear behaviour expectations and strong leadership presence
Valuable experience for those considering teacher training
Has strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Has previous experience working with children or young people
Is confident, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Can commit to a full-time role with an immediate start
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and up-to-date safeguarding training are required. The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
