Science Teacher KS3/KS4

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hailsham is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team full-time, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Whether you hold QTS or have a strong academic background in Science with relevant teaching or coaching experience, we welcome your application. Strong behaviour management skills are essential to ensure a positive and focused classroom environment.

Day to day:

• Teaching Science to KS3 & KS4 students
• Planning and delivering dynamic, hands-on lessons that encourage scientific thinking and problem-solving
• Supporting student progress and engagement across all areas of Science
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning space

About you:

• QTS is preferred, though applicants with a strong academic background in Science and experience teaching or coaching secondary school students are encouraged to apply
• Confident in delivering engaging Science lessons and supporting student achievement
• Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive classroom presence
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people
