A forward-thinking secondary school in Fareham is preparing for September and looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support students with additional learning needs across Key Stages 3 and 4.
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive secondary environment.
The role will involve:
• Supporting students during lessons across multiple subjects
• Working with pupils who have EHCPs and identified SEND needs
• Delivering targeted interventions and academic support
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Liaising with teaching staff and the SEND department
The school is particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience supporting Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia or speech and language needs.
