Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Crawley to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in Easter 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, energetic and compassionate, and who enjoys working closely with young people to help them succeed both academically and emotionally. The school has a strong focus on inclusion and provides excellent support for both pupils and staff.
Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 within the classroom
Providing 1:1 and small-group interventions where required
Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
Working alongside teachers to help maintain a calm, focused learning environment
Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence in learners
High-quality TA training and clear progression routes
A collaborative and well-established SEN department
An experienced and supportive leadership team that values support staff
A positive staff culture where Teaching Assistants are respected and developed
Has at least 6 weeks’ experience working with children or young people
Is calm, caring and proactive in their approach
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Is committed to a long-term role starting September 2026
This role requires an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
