We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Cosham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to positively impact the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

The Role

• Providing classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with SEMH needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Supporting learning activities and interventions
• Helping students develop confidence and self-esteem
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in education, care, youth work or support work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident supporting pupils with behavioural challenges
• Patient, resilient and adaptable
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
