SEMH Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Provision in Havant

Pink Tile Education are working with a specialist provision in the Havant area who are seeking a resilient and confident SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

The role will involve supporting pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support within both classroom and intervention settings. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to help students engage positively with learning and develop emotional regulation and social communication skills.

The role will include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
  • Assisting students to access learning activities across the curriculum
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Building positive and professional relationships with pupils
  • Encouraging engagement, confidence, and communication within learning
  • Working collaboratively with teaching, pastoral, and intervention teams

Experience within schools, care, youth work, residential settings, or alternative provision would all be highly beneficial.

The school are particularly keen to meet candidates who can support:

  • Social communication
