Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher in the Hailsham area to work with Key Stage 3 students. This is a full-time role starting in January, offering the chance to make a real difference in students’ academic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons and interventions for KS3 SEMH students
Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agencies
Track and report student progress
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
QTS preferred but unqualified candidates with relevant experience are considered
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate students
Passion for inclusion and student development
