Hours: 08:30 AM – 03:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Salary: £89 per day PAYE, temp to perm
We’re seeking a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist team in Worthing. You’ll support behaviour, emotional regulation and learning in a calm, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with SEMH needs using positive behaviour strategies.
• Deliver small group interventions focused on social skills and emotional regulation.
• Support transitions and individual targets in line with EHCPs or behaviour plans.
• Record progress and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Skills & Experience / What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with SEMH preferred; calmness under pressure essential.
• Transferable skills: communication, de-escalation, empathy, adaptability.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour strategies.
