A specialist SEMH provision in Portsmouth is seeking a confident and consistent Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
You will be working with students who require structure, clear boundaries and positive role modelling.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting behaviour regulation strategies
De-escalation and emotional support
Building trust with disengaged learners
Supporting classroom learning and intervention work
You must have:
Experience with SEMH, behaviour or youth work
DBS on the Update Service
Up-to-date safeguarding training
Strong behaviour management skills
