SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant – Havant (Immediate Start)

A specialist provision in Havant is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them immediately on a long-term basis.

The school supports pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in education. Many pupils have experienced disruption in their schooling, so consistency and patience are key.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, calm and able to build strong relationships.

You will be:

• Supporting pupils within the classroom and around the school
• Working 1:1 with pupils who need additional support
• Helping pupils re-engage with learning
• Supporting behaviour using a consistent approach

The school has a strong leadership team and clear behaviour systems in place, so you’ll be well supported.

Role details:

• Long-term position
• Full-time or part-time
• Immediate start
• £93 per day

Requirements:

• Experience with behaviour, SEMH, youth work or care preferred
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
