Pink Tile Education are looking for a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Bognor Regis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children with SEND and SEMH needs and wants to make a real difference to their confidence, emotional wellbeing and education.
You will be supporting primary-aged pupils across the school, with a particular focus on children who require additional support.
The role will involve:
Working 1:1 with pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
Supporting pupils within the classroom and helping them access their learning
Working with small groups of children with additional needs
Supporting children with emotional regulation
Helping pupils manage challenging situations and behaviours
Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Adapting activities and learning to meet individual needs
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team
Providing consistent, calm and nurturing support throughout the school day
The school is looking for someone who has previous experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly those who may require support with emotional regulation or challenging behaviour.
You will ideally have experience in a:
SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant role
Primary school
SEND or specialist setting
SEMH environment
Childcare, youth work or care setting
Most importantly, you will be patient, caring, resilient and confident building relationships with children who may need a little extra support to succeed.

It’s a great opportunity for a TA who enjoys variety — you will have the opportunity to provide 1:1 support, classroom support and small-group intervention work throughout the day.
