SEN Teaching Assistant

We are working with a warm and inclusive mainstream primary school in Littlehampton that is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing team and truly make a difference every single day.

💼 The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child with complex needs, helping them access learning and thrive in the classroom.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and support plans.
• Supporting the child’s academic, emotional, and social development in a patient and consistent manner.
• Promoting independence, confidence, and a positive learning experience.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a 1:1 capacity is essential.
• A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.
• A team player who is confident working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.

📍 Location & Hours:

• Based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Easily accessible from surrounding areas – parking available.
