💛 The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work in a general classroom role across EYFS or KS1/KS2 while giving additional support to pupils with SEN needs.

Your day might include:

  • Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping pupils with communication, routines and confidence
  • Adapting classroom tasks to make learning accessible
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance where needed
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Celebrating every bit of progress — big or small

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong SEN experience (essential)
  • Warm, patient and child‑centred
  • Confident supporting early literacy, numeracy and communication needs
  • Able to work as part of a compassionate, faith‑driven community
  • A positive role model who brings calm and consistency to the classroom
  • Reliable, friendly and ready to make a meaningful difference
