About the Role

We are supporting a friendly, inclusive primary school in Littlehampton who are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children who need a little extra support. This may include helping with focus, routines, confidence building, emotional regulation and supporting them to access learning fully.

This is a fantastic role for both experienced candidates and those newer to SEN — the school has a brilliant support structure and will provide guidance and mentoring.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children with mild–moderate additional needs (SEN)
  • Helping them engage in lessons and follow routines
  • Providing calm, nurturing emotional support throughout the day
  • Working with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver small‑group and 1:1 activities
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
  • Helping create a happy, structured and inclusive learning environment
