Location: Hastings | Pay: £84 – £90 per day

As a Teaching Assistant for SEND, you’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your Role

We’re looking for a committed individual who can:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND.
• Assist in delivering personalized learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills in students.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement effective strategies and support plans.
• Help maintain a positive, focused classroom environment by managing behavior effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A DBS certificate registered on the update service (this is essential).
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
• A caring, patient, and passionate attitude toward supporting SEND students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience with SEND students (preferred but not essential).
