SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Full-Time)

Location: Hove, East Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £89 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hove. This is a full-time role where you’ll make a real difference in the lives of pupils who need extra support to thrive in the classroom.


About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional challenges.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning attitudes.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure every child reaches their potential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable).
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality.
