Pink Tile Education is pleased to be working with a welcoming 2‑form entry primary school in Chichester who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism (ASD).

What the Role Involves

• Providing tailored, 1:1 support for a child with Autism throughout the school day
• Helping with communication, emotional regulation, routines and classroom engagement
• Using visuals, structured approaches and personalised strategies
• Supporting social interaction and confidence within the classroom and playground
• Working closely with the class teacher, year group partner, SENCo and parent/carers
• Ensuring the child feels safe, calm, and positively supported

• Can follow SEN plans, adapt approaches and stay calm under pressure
• Communicate well with staff, families and external professionals
• Are committed to helping children progress emotionally and academically
• Are reliable, positive and genuinely passionate about SEN support
