Pink Tile Education is supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Horsham who are looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with ASD.

About the Role

  • 1:1 support for a child with Autism (ASD) in a primary setting
  • Helping the child access learning, regulate emotions and build independence
  • Implementing tailored strategies, visuals, routines and communication tools
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals
  • Supporting social interaction, confidence and engagement
  • Providing consistency, patience and a calm, reassuring presence
  • Full‑time, Monday to Friday during school hours

About You

We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • Experienced in supporting children with SEN (ASD experience ideal)
  • Calm, patient and able to build trust quickly
  • Confident using visual supports, routines and positive behaviour approaches
  • A good communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Passionate about helping children make progress emotionally, socially and academically
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting the child’s journey
