A welcoming primary school in Horsham is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a brilliant Year 5 student with ASD who thrives with structure, calm reassurance and positive relationships.

💛 About the Role

You will be supporting a lovely Year 5 pupil who needs:

  • Clear structure and consistent routines
  • Support with focus, transitions and organisation
  • Gentle behaviour support and emotional regulation strategies
  • Assistance with classwork, small‑group tasks, and reinforcement of learning
  • Encouragement, modelling and lots of positive praise

You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to follow support plans and create a calm, trusting working relationship.
