We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 who require extra support with communication, emotional regulation or learning needs. The school has a warm, inclusive ethos and is committed to giving every child the best start in life.


šŸ’› What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 support for a child with SEN needs
  • Assisting with emotional regulation, communication and social interaction
  • Helping the child access learning through adapted tasks and resources
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support
  • Creating a calm, encouraging and positive environment
  • Supporting during playtimes, group work and transitions

✨ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (autism, speech & language needs, SEMH or developmental delays) is highly desirable
  • A patient, caring and resilient nature
  • Someone creative, proactive and able to build strong relationships
  • A team player who wants to learn and grow
  • Available to start ASAP
