🌱 The Role

As SENCO, you’ll lead the school’s SEND provision and champion inclusive practice across all year groups. You’ll work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals to ensure every child receives the right support to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the SEND strategy and ensuring high‑quality provision
  • Coordinating EHCPs, interventions and individual support plans
  • Coaching staff and embedding effective inclusive practice
  • Liaising with outside agencies and specialists
  • Tracking progress of pupils with additional needs and driving improvement
  • Being a visible, approachable and proactive presence across the school
