We’re looking for confident, reliable people to support pupils with additional needs in a specialist SEND setting in Portsmouth.
This role is perfect if you have experience in:
Care / support work
Youth work
Coaching or mentoring
Or simply enjoy working with young people
You’ll be supporting students who need extra help with behaviour, communication and engagement, working closely with a supportive team.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping manage behaviour and keep students engaged
• Supporting learning inside and outside the classroom
• Building strong relationships with pupils
What we’re looking for:
• A calm, patient and confident approach
• Someone reliable who can commit to a long-term role
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up to date safeguarding training
