Flexible, Fulfilling Opportunity – A Great Way Back into Teaching

Are you an experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding, short-term role that offers purpose and flexibility? We’re working with a school in Brighton trialling an exciting new nurture hub model – and they’re looking for the right teacher to help bring it to life.

This is a temporary position delivered through agency, ideal for someone who is:

  • Looking for a term or two maybe more of full-time, fulfilling work

  • Interested in getting back into teaching in a supportive, structured setting

  • Passionate about working with young people with SEMH and ASD needs

About the Role:

  • Teaching in a small, well-supported nurture hub within a mainstream setting

  • Focused on providing structure, consistency, and emotional support to pupils

  • Full-time role with an immediate or flexible start

  • Working with a dedicated support team and SEND professionals

  • The role is part of a pilot, with potential to extend beyond the initial term

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

    • Strong experience working with SEMH and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC/ASD)

    • Confidence in managing behaviour positively and promoting engagement

    • A calm, nurturing presence with a flexible, team-first attitude

    • Experience in SEND, PRU, AP, or nurture-based settings a strong advantage
