SEND Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Worthing.

The Role:

• Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEND), ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
• Working one-to-one or with small groups to help students achieve their learning goals.
• Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioral needs as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND, is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• A valid DBS check on the update service.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
